As an increasing number of colleges across the U.S. — at least 664 so far — impose a mandatory COVID vaccination policy, fake vaccination cards are popping up like weeds.
One Instagram account, for example, sells them laminated for just $25. Another account advertises vaccination certificates for up to $200. Although some university systems like the University of Michigan say they have a way of weeding out the fakes, it still worries officials.
