Massive anti-vaccine mandate protest In L.A. – city employees ready to lose jobs over requirement

Red Voice Media: On Monday morning, hundreds of anti-vaccine mandate activists gathered in downtown Los Angeles’ Grand Park to protest against the requirements being put in place by the city regarding the shot.

ABC7 reported that the protest, which was named the March for Freedom rally, was held the same day that Los Angeles’s proof of full COVID-19 vaccination mandate, one of the strictest in the U.S., went into effect. Many of the protesters could be seen holding American flags and signs slamming vaccination requirements during the demonstration.

“The Vaccine Mandate will cause the loss of a highly trained and skilled workforce in Los Angeles,” organizers of the rally said in a statement. “This will not only cause pain, suffering, and mental anguish to the employees that are to be terminated, it will also deny the protection, safety, and city services the residents of this great city have been afforded by their elected officials who have now created this new set of problems.”

Various government employees attending the rally said that they are ready to lose their jobs for refusing to comply with the city’s vaccine mandate, which gives them until December 18 to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Los Angeles firefighter Scott Tomlin spoke out to say that he is ready to lose his job “because I’m not prepared to lose my life over it.”
