EEOC guides business to SCREEN employees, not TEST them

Here are questions OSHA asks employers in the “COVID-19 Healthcare Worksite
Checklist & Employee Job Hazard Analysis” document
on the OSHA website.

  • Do you have a policy to screen and triage all clients, patients, residents and other non-employees entering settings where direct patient care is provided for people who may have symptoms of COVID-19?
  • Do you have a health screening protocol for screening employees before each work day and each shift?
  • Identification and evaluation of the hazards: the employer shall develop a process for screening employees for and responding to employees with COVID-19 symptoms.

Screening is different than testing! There are different ways to be screened. You can see a doctor to be clinically evaluated for COVID, or any infection. You can answer questions that you feel healthy. But, you don’t have to submit to testing.
