A cash-based pharmacy, called Freedom Pharmacy, opened in Ohio in early 2021. As a direct-to-consumer pharmacy, it “does no business with any third parties.” It offers generic drugs and provides compounding options. It offers low prices because it’s outside of the system; no middlemen are involved.
