It started with the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report from August 6, 2021, “Outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 Infections, Including COVID-19 Vaccine Breakthrough Infections, Associated with Large Public Gatherings — Barnstable County, Massachusetts, July 2021“, two thirds of those who got sick with Delta variant were fully vaccinated.
On May 28, 2021 the CDC published COVID-19 Vaccine Breakthrough Infections Reported to CDC — United States, January 1–April 30, 2021. The report showed over 10,000 breakthrough failures in community, 10% of which were hospitalized, and 2% died. The CDC then gave up, and stopped reporting breakthrough infections, and started crafting a narrative that the pandemic was pandemic of the unvaccinated. They then published guidance that the PCR tests should be run at laboratories using nor more than a cycle threshhold of 28. They also advised that those vaccinated should no longer test for COVID-19, but those that are unvaccinated should continue to get tested. The CDC continued to come in
July 26, 6,507 cases, 19% of which were hospitalized, and 19% who died.
Around the same time, the CDC director said on national television that the vaccine cannot stop the spread of COVID-19.
In August the breakthrough infections who were hospitalized or who died, rose to 11,050.
According to a study published in January 2022, called The COVID-19 Hospitalization Metric in the Pre- and Post-vaccination Eras as a Measure of Pandemic Severity: A Retrospective, Nationwide Cohort Study, 23% of Americans Hospitalized with COVID-19 have been vaccinated. This was pre=delta variant.

“we analyzed SARS-CoV-2 whole-genome sequences and viral loads from 1,373 persons with COVID-19 from the San Francisco Bay Area from February 1 to June 30, 2021, of which 125 (9.1%) were vaccine breakthrough infections. Fully vaccinated were more likely than unvaccinated persons to be infected by variants carrying mutations associated with decreased antibody neutralization (L452R, L452Q, E484K, and/or F490S) (78% versus 48%, p = 1.96e-08)…”
They were looking at people that were infected, but the mutated strains were more common among the vaccinated, whereas the unvaccinated seemed to not carry those mutated viruses.

What he is saying is that Omicron has not evolved from the original variant – there has been a jump from a year ago to this brand new Omicron variant. There is no step by step mutation.
They have no genetic information from animals to suggest that the virus went into an animal reservoir and then back to humans.
Basically, the Omicron variant came out of no where. And it could have been leaked from a lab, on purpose. This is shown on the GSAID genetic analysis of the virus and its variants, as well:
